NaverBot now supports on-screen text parsing!
What does that mean? That means you can now setup NaverBot to take a picture of a certain area on your screen, and detect whether it contains certain words.
This may not seem impressive, but consider that we do this without invading your device’s memory at all. This means that you will be much less likely to get banned for it.
How does it work? First, you need to buy text parsing credits. You’re in the right place for that. One credit = one text lookup.
Next, setup your trigger or action. This will take a picture of your screen at the desired interval (we recommend not having it check more than twice per minute).
The picture then gets sent to our server, where we check to make sure that you have enough text parsing credits. Then, we send it on to Google’s Cloud Vision API. They tell us if it contains the correct word.
We then send that info back to your desktop where it can be used to automate any action in your favorite games.
Why do I need to buy text parsing credits? We are charged each time that we make a call to Google’s API. This means that we need to charge you per call, otherwise it would be possible for unscrupulous users to make us pay Google more than we receive from their subscription.
Example
Let’s say you’re playing cookie clicker. And you want to buy as many cursors as possible. But you only want to buy them if they are under $1 quadrillion.
You could set up 3 triggers:
One to check if the text contains “million,” one to see if it contains “billion,” and one to see if it contains “trillion.” This way, you can guarantee that you will never pay more than $1 quadrillion for a cursor.
